The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) is one of the largest Christian denominations in the United States, with nearly 3.3 million members in more then 8.900 worshiping communities across the 50 states and in the Caribbean region.
Lutheran World Relief tackels global poverty by helping people adapt to the challanges that threaten their livlihoods and well-being.
We are a faith-based, health and human services organization that provides housing, health care and emergency assistance to thousands of people every day with programs that serve the whole person and respond to some of our communities most serious challanges.
LSS Faith Mission, a part of the LSS Network of Hope, provides more then 90,000 nights of shelter to men, woman and veterans who are experiencing homelessness. Their mission is not only to help people in need but to maintain their dignity in doing so.
Lutheran Disaster Response shares God’s hope, healing and renewal with people whose lives have been disrupted by disasters in the United States and around the world. When the dust settles and the headlines change, LDR stays to provide ongoing assistance to those in need.
First English Lutheran Church is located in inner city Columbus, OH. They provide a free community breakfast on Sundays from 8:30am – 9:30am, and every third Saturday from 1:00pm – 4:00pm they open their bike shop, teaching all ages how to repair and rebuild bicycles.
jacob’s porch is the Lutheran Campus Ministry at The Ohio State University. It is a place where people can wrestle through who they are and who Jesus is within community.
HopeWood Outdoors was formerly known as Lutheran Outdoor Ministries in Ohio (LOMO). The HopeWood vision is to connect all people with nature and faith to bless a changing world, and their vision is to faithfully inspire people to embrace their callings in creation and community.
HopeWood Pines offers 400 acres of woods, nature trails, and waterways, including Alum Creek, for exploration and enjoyment (40 miles north of Columbus, OH).
HopeWood Shores offers 66 wooded acres with Lake Erie frontage and provides a stunning view with sensational sunsets (1 hour northeast of Cleveland, OH).
A regional and ecumenical, inclusive seminary of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), Trinity Lutheran Seminary at Capital University equips and forms faithful, wise and courageous leaders. Our students explore faith, grow in knowledge, and participate in practical ministry training.

BREAD stands for Building Responsibility, Equality, and Dignity. BREAD is a 501(c)3 nonprofit and non-partisan organization. Habitat for Humanity-MidOhio is committed to providing opportunities for central Ohio families to live in homes that are safe, decent, and affordable. Helping Hands provides the highest level of free healthcare for uninsured or underinsured adults living at or below 400% of the federal poverty level. Inspired by the healing hands of Jesus, our mission extends beyond medical care to include free health education, counseling, social services, and necessary referrals.
The Haitian Timoun Foundation is a grassroots movement that has been advocating and investing in the children and people of Haiti for more then 20 years. We have a proven track record of investing the right way in Haiti which fosters hope and dignity while honoring the Haitian people.
For more then 80 years, Global Refuge has provided the resources, guidance, and community to help forge a way forward for New Americans. Global Refuge is committed to helping people reimagine the possibilities while providing a soft place to land.
